The Life of Lou Ruppert

 

Lou Ruppert is an IT security professional at Syracuse University, a consultant, an entrepreneur, a wine maker, a chef, an artist, a minister, a writer, an inventor, and probably a thousand other things he doesn’t even know about. He spends his days protecting students from the Russian mafia, the Chinese military, and their own carelessness, and his evenings making friends, having fun, and saving the world.

Some of his accomplishments include:

• Won awards for his pictures and sculpture
• Public speaking engagements in the US and West Africa (with a translator)
• Security and systems design expertise has been called upon for a wide variety of clients in the US and France
• Able to make conversation in four languages
• Trustee for a successful non-profit
• Never been to jail (wait, you’re not supposed to go to jail!)

Lou has a BA in Russian Language, Literature, and Culture from Syracuse University.
