Comedy night
Tonight I met up with some friends for a comedy show. The comedian was Victor Varnado, and it was one of the funniest shows I’ve seen in a very long time. I was asleep all day with this sinus funk, but for an hour and a half, I was awake and laughing. Nice work, Victor!
By all rights, I should be going to bed now, but my friend John just got a big promotion so I have to go to his house for the celebration party. It’s worth some discomfort to express my congratulations. And tomorrow is the last weekend of Syracuse’s Winterfest. So bed rest in a meaningful sense is a long ways away.
