Priorities and connections
Here’s a brilliant idea. Take a night a week and unplug from screened electronics. TVs, computers, cell phones — everything must go. It’s natural to prioritize the wrong things and realize you’ve gotten yourself into life-debt. You know, that feeling where it seems like the amount of things you need to do are greater than the time you’ll be alive.
On Tuesdays, I teach an email Bible study. Eventually, I’ll create a blog to do it, but I’ve been doing the email Bible study thing for probably like twelve years at this point. This week I taught on priorities and fulfilling your purpose in life. Here it is, if you’re interested.
I taught a short class tonight on how to wire 568B ethernet jacks. The result is a new jack in the small chapel at my church. Finally. The thing to remember with network wiring is to keep the curves big when you need to go around corners, and always to leave extra cable at the ends. I’ll try to get pictures next time we run cable.
